Homebuild recumbent

Postby LIQFITS » Sun Jan 04, 2009 1:19 am

I recently made an effort to translate my website from Dutch into English. It's a side about building my own recumbent.
Because I am new here I can't give you the exact adress of my website.
Just google "liqfits" and you will find it.

18ks is not that bad ...
there are lot on the market that come in around that...
both my homebuilds are 23....
and I've done near 20,000ks on them...
True I'd love one that was 10ks but I can't see that coming about just now
Anyway it looks a nice job to me

(to really steampunk the thing...)

And now for an art deco tailbox? Weight really isn't an issue where art is the governor.

Most of the weight is in the seat  , how thick is that ally? I used 2mm for mine, similar structure, that looks like ~5mm.

Not my cuppa tea with the fine tubing but I do appreciate the effort, and it is bent after all

Here we see the difference between style and fashion.
Sorry Graeme and Hotdog, but your Bacchettas look like amateur hour next to this

Great effort LIQFITS. :D

"Eye of the beholder", methinks ... ;)

I see a few places where improvements can be made (and have been on the Bacchettas ...). What's important though is that he made this himself, and that's nothing to be sneezed at.

Cheers,
Graeme
