Don't forget the Perth Criterium series starts tomorrow night in Joondalup from about 6.30pm. I'll be there, but not sure if I'll ride there - in case I accidentally end up on the track (if I do I'll be easy to spot - the porky one at the back ).

See here for all the details. There was a good crash last year that saw a bike in 2 halves - awful to see the bike, but only a bit of skin off the riders so all was ok.

No crashes, fast racing, good night out.
Wesley Sulzberger finished 8th I think.

G'day
Heading along to Leederville tonight. Anne's best friend's son rides for Plan B so going along to watch him. This is the same team as Sally Robbins rides for.

Yeah, sally was in the aust champs on a quite hilly course for the road race and the time trial. didn't do any good, but she's not exactly built for hills. She's huge!! All muscle, but was twice the size of the chick that win the women's race. There is hope for me yet!!

What a great afternoon of racing.
Gutsy ride from Sally Robbins to attack with 20-25 minutes to go, only to crash/puncture around one of the corners. She managed to run to get a new wheel, rejoin and stay away till the last lap when her team mate bridged across. I wonder how that went down after the race - Sally certainly deserved the win with that effort.
