G'day all. Bikeforce Ellenbrook had it's first shop ride yesterday morning. Had a group of 7 first up and it was a nice ride. If you're in the Swan Valley sort of area, come down next Sat morning. Start time 6.30 am. Distance of around 40kms at a nice social pace. Have a coffee afterwards. See you there.

Thanks Dean, saved me from having to get the map out. Not sure if route will be the same this week or not. Are you thinking of coming along David? I reckon down West Swan Rd through Guildford to river at Bassendean is a good little ride. See you there Dean.

Hey Daz
I usually ride with Bike force Morley on a Sat morning at 6.30 .
We come down through Collier Rd to Guildford Rd and head out Helena Valley Rd , so you never know , our paths might cross some time . We usually return via Clayton St to Toodyay rd and back down to Guildford rd and straight through to Mt Lawley for coffee at Cino,s . About 46 km Then if you wish , a second group leaves there after coffee and heads down to My Henry bridge and return , another 50 km or so depending on where you finish . Makes for a good morning .

It's a nice hill, should put some serious pressure on some of the cyclists , almost as nice as the one on Haddrill Road.
Nah Daz, not me. I haven't been down the Ellenbrook sort of area since the roadworks on Gt Northern H'way started. Roadworks seem to create majorly irritated drivers

Well yesterday was the same route, two new cyclists (incl. the groups first female rider) and without a roaring easterly to push us backwards along Reid and Roe highways the pace picked up by a couple of k's.
That 6:30am start is only going to get colder!
Will be out again next Saturday, so as Daz said come on down! If we start getting reasonable numbers Mark is going to try to get one of the _real_ cafes to open early for us to enjoy, rather than the golden arches!
