i was invited to a different sat am ride this weekend, rode the grp most suited to me apparently, i worked on the hills, the rest of the ride was rather sedate, i wanted to sprint off the front and leave them, no rolling over, people just pushed their way to the front at lights or a sprint. in frustration i rode 30klms extra on the way home and increased the avg speed i did in the group! oh well never again, i like my usual ride.

Not sure "enjoy" is the word that I'd use at the moment, but there was a definite sense of achievment (however small) and I shall persevere!20thCB wrote:If you enjoy it you'll be wishing it was longer soon!Minority wrote: Still, it's only Osborne Park to Kingsley!

You might want to stop reading here if you are from the Southern suburbs!
Rode 40km from the North today with a fairly strong NE, the wind is due to switch to SW at lunchtime in time for my ride back to the North in the evening! (Whilst keeping one eye on the possible rain that is due!)
Cheers,
Gary
