you did well Spizz, homefully you can make the Yarramundi 8hr on 8th march, i think i may go a 3 man team so i ca hammer each lap, rather then cruise around Solo style.
Did anyone take on the huge double jumps at the end of the course, i was behind 2 x BMC riders going very, very fast and they both went over the one which was built up with a pallet, ie the drop was 3-4 foot, was amazing to watch, i went around them chicken style. Was very cool though having double jumps on a XC course, even if i di take the b line for most of them.

Don, I'll have to see about Yarramundi. A team of 3 or 4 is definitely a good idea. I would also prefer to go hard for a lap and recover rather than plod along all day in energy conservation mode.
Rainer, The guy with the cool ute setup opposite us was riding a single speed hardtail too. He did 7 quick laps and said screw this He went out again at the end and did one more lap with a mate. His race No. was 11.
