(2) As a newbie I found the Bicycle FAQ section very useful.
The term FAQ is a misnomer though, in every other usage I have seen FAQ's are supplied by administration, and not open to public posts. There are lots of useful answers to Frequently Asked Questions in each of the forum sections which could be collated to a dedicated information section. Or is more use of the search function a better answer?

Hello,
You will have noticed the changes I am certain - here is a recap.

(1) Main Section renamed - General…
(2) FAQs not deleted - new idea that this could be a "honey Pot" for hot threads - item still open.
(3) No change to "Forum and Site Feedback" naming
(4) No New MTB section - stays as is
(5) Track Sections remains in Serious Biking
(6) Triathlon moved to Road
(7) "Training and Racing" section now an 'all disciplines' topic in Serious Biking. As the current content however was mostly road orientated - The previous section was renames Road Biking - so the Training and Racing is effectively brand new.
(9) As Above - Road Biking is the new 'general' topic in the road section.
(10) Meeting Point - currently being deleted, though all old posts will be delegated to the appropriate state.
(11) Press Releases - currently being deleted, though all old posts will be delegated to the appropriate state.
.

Open is the "FAQs" section - I will see if it makes sense to go along with the "honey post" suggestion.

Thanks for the feedback!

Ok - the moving of posts has been done ... Never Again!

--

Also a note - the order of the Australian States / Territories forums has been changed - concept is that the higher the number of posts, the higher it is listed. WA has now been defeated and NSW is in the lead. ACT takes a big tumble (from third) down three positions while Queensland overtakes South Australia to be the new number three.

Cheers
Christopher

Christopher, I think you need to retain a section under the "Road Racing and Touring" section called "Training", rather than having it lumped into "Road Biking". People are looking for the training section and it's no longer easy to find. Without it, we are likely to lose input from valued members like Alex Simmonds.

(In point 7 above, you've said it's under the "Serious Biking" section. It's not: it's in "Road Racing and Touring".)

Cheers,
Graeme

Training and Racing has dissapeared.

I am happy to have a section for Training specifically in the Road Section, infact will do it right now.

Christopher, is it possible to insert a link in, say, "Road Racing and Touring" to "Training" to help navigation around the site, rather than going back to the index all the time.

There is the "Jump to:" dropdown box at the bottom of each page, isn't that what you're after?

Time to put WA back in it's rightful place Christopher. If we're charged with dragging Australia out of the financial poo with a leading economy, we should also lead the way on the BNA forum. ;)

At least NSW pulls when it's their turn: what's going on in the rest of the country? You're dropping off the back there guys! ;)

Cheers,
Graeme

Too late. The postwhoring has already taken place (we're in the post-postwhoring phase now).

Watch for the video on YouTube. ;)

Hmmm, have you noticed that Europa of fond memory has been eclipsed in the post count, and will soon be sitting third? Never thought I'd see the day...
