Hobart BNA Ride

Postby RobRollin » Tue Mar 10, 2009 9:33 am

Not sure how many of us there are in Hobart, but how about a monthly ride for BNA members? Maybe a 40-60k ride once a month. If your keen weekly.

We could change the route but a good route is Cenotaph (start of the bike track) out along the track to Glenorchy. Up Marys Hope Rd, back down Alunga. Out to Bridgewater Bridge. Back again up Cadbury Hill for a short sprint. And back along the bike track. 48ks.

Or out along the bike track to Bowen Bridge, over the Bowen, and back through Lindisfarne and back over Hobart Bridge. 30ks+

Who's in?

Count me in if it gets up and running - looks like we may have to go on a recruitment drive for BNA for it to qualify as a group ride though!

Thinking about making Mt Wellington a set-in-stone regular ride... otherwise there are too many good excuses to wuss out on any given day

HAHAHAHA

Recruitment drive it is, maybe a few stickers to give away. I could hand out to my regular bunch from Ken Self.

Solid ride up the Mt Wellington would be a good monthly ride!

I'll be riding from town at 4:00 this afternoon, if anyone wants to join me.

This is the route to take.
