You wouldn't of done well with me, about the most I'd pay on a camera is $200.

No wonder I always have a hard time recognizing the riders in your photos.

That's cos I've been using the phone, which has a $1 camera in it.

The advantage of a phone camera is that you happen to have it with you, so its handy for those unexpected moments. I'm sure there are better ones than the one I currently have.

managed to scoop a new Mavic Aksium Wheelset from EBay for the pricely sum of $255 + $30 postage

Nope, its a set of "wheels". The best price I managed to find was at Dean Woods for $329 + Postage, and most expensive was a LBS at $475.

The cassette and tyres will be approached with the same careful picking as to yield thebest bargains ...
