italy - buying second road bikes (prefer steel)

Postby laterstarter » Thu Apr 16, 2009 6:37 pm

Flying to Italy arriving at Malpensa Milan airport. Are there any recommendations for where I might be able to buy a secondhand road bike in the Milan area somewhere. Web shows a few bike shops but no mention much of secondhand stuff.

I would love to jag a steel frame from one of the name builders.

Alternative would be to take my own bike with me, but I am flying Singapore Airlines and their bike shipping fees seem to be a bit on the high side.

this sounds good. Google maps - "10 Via Semplicità". You may not find anything but it sounds interesting
