FAO Crank : Kalbarri - OctoberNot sure if Crank reads this forum but we'll be heading up to Kalbarri during the school holidays in October. I'll be sure to catch up this time.
(I'll have my parents with me (on holiday from the UK) so let me know if you have a spare tandem! Cheers, Gary
Crank does read this forum, but I'll let him know. I'm also planning the trip, but I'm riding.
Are you riding there and back? Kev. There is only one BicycleWA.
Yes i do read the forums thats when im not lost in the bush then again i think im lost now...
Yes i would like to meet you, in October if you are riding up But since you have your perents and i do not have a spare tandem in my bicycle trailer (just checked) i say that you will be driving Let me know when its a bit closer to October i could be anywhere.
No worries Crank, I'll be there from the 6th - 13th October.
Yes, I'll be driving up, I ain't as mad as Kev just yet! We're staying in apartments on the front so we're ok for accom! Although after a few days with the rellies I may be knocking on your door! I'll make sure I have the thorn resistant inner tubes fitted on my hybrid bike before I leave. Cheers, Gary
If not I know where you might be able to acquire some Kev. There is only one BicycleWA.
Tubes of what? Shaun ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Pah, ratbag mudgrubbers Richard I had a good bike ... so I fixed it
Thanks for the compliment Seriously, Mitre10 in SA has bicycle tubes of any kind? Shaun ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

They're independent franchises so they vary a lot but mine has quite a supply of basic cycling bits, just like the old days when most of us bought our gear from the hardware shop, not the bike shops. Actually, the Mitre10 to which I refer technically isn't my 'local' - my local is 2km away and the routine is to go there first, find they don't have what I want then go an extra 2km to this one who usually has what I want (it's only the oddball they miss out on). The shop closest to me amazes me - they have this huge shop stuffed with stock, yet they never have what I need and the few times I've bought 'something close', I've wound up going to the other one to buy the right item. Bizarre. Of course, that doesn't happen in Crank's shop does it Richard I had a good bike ... so I fixed it
No in my shop i only have "touring gear", trailers ,panniers, and losts of heavy stuff to put on your bicycle a bit of retro stuff and just some basic bits and bobs But if you are ever up here i should be able to get you back on the road / track..
mmmmm..... I'm looking for a set of them. There is only one BicycleWA.
I have plenty here all sorts so if you have a blow out you should be ok
Thanks Crank, I used the Kalbarri Entertainment Centre last time (and they fixed my broked spokes as well.) I think the owner sold the business when I was there at Christmas? Assume it's still there? Cheers, Gary
I have sent you some details about them
Well the Kalbarri Entertainment Centre is well not there any more but like i said if you need any parts let me know thats "touring gear"
