I'm considering this as I missed it last year. I am doing DW100 this weekend so pushing my luck with the Mrs to be able to do this one. If I can find suitable accomodation around the area I could bring the family down for a long weekend.

Mogo is a top spot. I used to race motorbike enduros down there every year. The trails are so nice and yes its hilly! Sounds like a tough event. As for accomodation, batemans bay is only 10 mins from Mogo and there is a caravan park there that is nice.

i think its smoothish, but not sure, from what i ahve been told its nice flowing single track with heaps of firetrail climbs.
I did 2400m climbing at the BMC a few weeks ago, so i guess another 400m is doable. I think i may put some effort and actually do some training though.

I wasn't going to enter but leximack twisted my arm to near dislocation. It hurt so much I gave in and entered. I really need to HTFU!
Not sure who he is talking about kicking his arse though. I've only ridden my mtb offroad twice :) It's all flat firetrails isn't it??

keep a look out on nobmob.com and rotorburn.com and you will pick one up
People wont be able to ride due to injury, work, being soft  etc
