Own up...

Postby simonn » Tue Apr 28, 2009 8:23 pm

Anybody on here on a bent on the Epping Road cycle track (Sydney) at the traffic lights on Longueville Rd ~0900 this am?

I know you were not a proper bent rider because you did not have a beard :).

I have seen the culprit too... an elusive clean shaven bent rider!

A naked bent rider
If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

I have a small goatee, does that count?
Cheers!

Ummm.... It 'could' have been me. I'm a bit embarrassed about this. I haven't actually got mine yet but I've put a deposit on it and I think that I've 'ridden' it everywhere recently. Up to Mudgee for the Muster. Up to Coffs for the weekend. I think I was with some racer dudes down near Waterfall this morning as well. It is absolutely amazing what the brain can do! I think that my legs are already 'bent' too.

Any way, here's hoping.

Mate, the word "naked" is redundant in that sentence.

Ah, that would have been me. Not my normal neck of the woods, I was taking a ride over to a roof rack shop in Artarmon before work so that I could work out which bike carriers my recumbent would fit. I needed something that would enable me to carry the bike on a Barina urgently so that I would be able to get both me and the bike home from the Sydney to Canberra charity bike ride over the weekend (details in this thread).
