Is my map dodgy??

Postby heavymetal » Sat Jun 30, 2007 1:03 pm

Further on to this thread in the announcements about the WA forum being the most popular, I've noticed that there is a problem with my maps.

I have a map of Australia, which shows the state of WA, but the rest of the map outside of WA just shows unexplored wasteland.

Does anyone else have maps with this problem?

We drove round Aus a few years ago and didn't bother with maps...just kept the water on the right hand side till we got home again!! Much easier :D

Well my maps just show the edge of the earth and on the edge of the map it say "Beyond this point you may fall of the edge"

I thought I also had one of those dodgy maps, but it turned out that I hadn't completely unfolded it ....

There a whole other side to this continent, and apparently that's where our taxes go Kev.

Cheers,
Graeme

Isn't "the other side" a bit like ballast? Making sure WA doesn't tip over and get lots of nasty hills, but the first thing you cut loose when it is slowing you down.

Perhaps HRH Prince Leonard has the right idea

I'm surprised Kev hasn't already gone that way

We felt a massive bump earlier tonight. Scientists reckon it was Western Austalia trying to catch up with the rest of the world :D

And here I was thinking it had something to do with those letters from your doctors
