What got me was the driver seems to have knocked over the cyclist AND then run over them ... as if it was a separate action. Maybe I misreading it or the report is not clear.

Yes, it is sloppy reporting. The cyclist might have been knocked down and fallen under the wheels. But the moron took out a pedestrian at the same time so it wasn't just a 'whoops I got too close'.

From what I read in the Courier ( the dunny paper it is ) the Girl/Lady was walking her bike with someone else.
