I'll probably be following the grand tradition of falling asleep in front of the box and missing it all

Here's my challenge, can I get up and do the 6.30am club ride after watching it?

If you do Mike, there's a very good chance you'll be the only one there. Win by default!

almost 3 hours to go. The race is from 11 to 1.30am so not too bad...though I'm tired now so later isn't looking good.

Excited though :P

WAKE UP RICHARD!!

My SBS guide says I have to wait until 11:50, racing in the rain seems to be a lot harder than riding ie. I'm more tired after a short race at a reasonably low average speed than I've been after longer, faster rides. :?
Bed for me, record it please Mr. iQ. If Mick wins the prologue I'll be very cross with him - the ACT Vets coaching staff (us F graders) think he should ease into it over the flat stages, then start the real work in about 5 days.

Struggling. Eyes are heavy. Doesn't help going down to the RSL to watch the rugby earlier.

To set up the video or to try to stay the course....that is the question.

Kev.

Don't get home from work till it's over

Was getting the GLW to tape it, but SBS reception is having "one of those days" :x

I got cunning, went to bed at 8:30 and set the alarm for 11:40. As I type, I'm upright, mobile, eyes making out vague shapes in the world around me and SBS is playing the tail end of some dreadful movie ... oh, and the cat thinks it's breakfast time (he's got buckley's).

We are in count down here in WA. Still up and awake (but for how long?! :? ). Just finished baking as I have friends coming for lunch tomorrow (she can't even ride a bike, but she's ok really :D ). Made a Mars Bar slice and a chocolate fudge slice.

Of course, as the night wears on the number of pieces is dropping...that's why I made two - to ensure there is enough left for lunch!!

I'm a fan so don't get me wrong, but how Wimbledon gets so much airplay over cycling (still no Giro telecast) is beyond me. At least cyclists don't tend to grunt when they push the pedals
