Bugger about O'Grady just crashing in the prologue. That wasn't in his plans. :( Damn shame. At least he got back on the bike.

Robbie on the track as I type ... and the F1 qualifying has just finished so I can concentrate on the cycling now

Fantastic start to the tour . That ride by Cancellara to take the win was a mighty effort. Did you see his thighs? And I though Gusev's ride was good at the time ... well, it was, but not good enough.

What about when Cancellara was snaking through the tighter section of the course toward the finish and the motorcycles couldn't get around the corners fast enough. Thought for sure he was going to catch them and so did the commentator.

That was an impressive ride alright. To beat the best time by 13 seconds over that distance is unbelievable.

I'm tired though... :( It will be a big 3 weeks...and I don't drink coffee :?

Taped it and watched it today.

I did a 20km time trial earlier in the day in 38m 22s at an average of 30.6km/h

These guys were averaging 50+km/h. I know it was about 12km less but still that's absolutely bloody amazing.

Watched it live on SBS last night and didn't turn into a punkin. I don't think I'll survive the entire tour.

Tuco, start saving for you CF disc wheels, body suit, aero helmet and aero bars. You'll be doing 49.999kph in no time. Oh yes, find a downhill course. ;)
