My decision has been made, I'm not doing the Stradie Salute ( I haven't done any swim training and not much running lately ). So I am definatly going to do the Brissy to Gold Coast ride.

I'm not going to be able to do it this year as I'll be overseas. I was looking forward to having another crack at it and see how much faster I'd got since last year. Oh well next year then.

Participation in The Event involves riding on public roads used by other traffic and thousands of other cyclists in close proximity. The Participant acknowledges and accepts the hazards involved.
The Event is not a race and roads used will not be closed to traffic.
The Participant must ride in a safe, responsible and courteous manner during The Event and use common sense at all times.
The Participant agrees to abide by the Queensland Road Rules and to follow directions given by The Organisers and Queensland Police.

You get to ride the busway all the way from the city to near Rochedale. Not many days of the year you can do that...colafreak wrote:Do they close the roads for this one?

I'll be along again this year. My dad and I did it last year on F-frame moultons, this year I might take something a little lighter.
