Never heard about this event before (new to the forums) and im very keen for next years already. I've looked at the website and cant find out what the entry fee for 2009 was - anyone mind posting?

i think it was $110, it has been that price for the last few yrs, so i would say that it would be $115 or $120 in 2010.

Don't forget that the entries to the Highland Fling open on July 1st. And the Wildhorizons crew will have another event called the 3-Ring Circus in August on the Wingellow tracks.

i believe this yr could see leximack attempt the highland fling on a cyclocross bike (yeah, thats what he said last year you say :lol: ) . Trying to convince boognoss to join me and we can crusie along at the back togeher.

The 3 ring circus sounds interesting, 50km of wingello single track is not to be missed

Bugger that the Circus is on the same weekend as the State DH Champs out at Lithgow - I'm torn.

Full Fling - 26% Singletrack & No Track, 58% Rough/4WD track, 14% Dirt Road, 2% Sealed Road

Leximack's convincing worked. I'm going to try cyclocross for the first time in the full fling :). Might need to try offroad training. Never done it before :D

November, sometime: Sydney Spring Fat Tyre Festival, held at Ourimbah. An awesomely fun, flowy track. But take your HRM - it has some climbs that make Heartbreak Hill at at Manly Dam look like a warm-up. :D

ppppppppppfttttt that 'hill' at manly dam is medicore at best - its all those bloody rocks and drop offs that make it so challenging (skill related)
