They are just leg warmers really arent they.

Does it matter that they only come up to your knees? I would have thought the main areas to concentrate on would be quads / hammys?

Like I said I like to sleep in them....I also use full lenght ones.
LA seems to like them as I haven't seen him without the "socks" off the bike this tour .

Regardless of the temperature I find I can ride better and longer wearing compression tights, but them I’m an old guy and have problems with varicose veins.
Recovery? Nothing that collapsing on my settee with a cold stubby can’t fix. LOL

This compression gear might be worth a try. Can anybody tell me what the fit is like on the 2XU tights?
Being 190cm and 79 kilo definately makes clothes shopping interesting. I've learnt not to even bother with close fitting garments If the length is right, 99% of the time the fit is too wide.
