Possible perfect riding conditions: 19/07/09

Postby Tom Marius » Sun Jul 19, 2009 5:36 pm

Was it just me or was today (sunday the 19th) perfect riding conditions in Hobart? I'm talking no wind (for a change :) ) not too much sun but not freezing, some nice clouds and just a really good vibe (hard to explain, but yeh, if you've seen the castle, you'll catch my drift :D )

I noticed a LOT of riders out and about today which can only be good for Hobart, and cycling itself.
:D

Agreed. I was out this morning for a couple of hours, sun was bright little wind and the bike track was being used by a lot of riders, walkers, joggers, and families. Actually in some sections became too risky to really train. So we took the road.

Where did you go out too Tom?

I was on the eastern shore, went from Howrah to Geilston bay, a nice little 30k round trip.
I really like riding close to the river, and looking out over the water over to town :D
