8) thanks europa for posting the pic.....
moo I didn't expect to feel much difference without experience BUT I was happily proved wrong :lol:
Also had decided 105's be fine just make sure I get a good frame and the rest can be replaced in due course.
Damn I was impressed the smoothness the shifts with the Ultegra's and the carbon so yer I fell in love :D

Will give you my thoughts after a few rides.....

I tested alloy framed bikes which felt great being a novice but once I tried a full carbon well that was me ! and the bike Felt Right !!
Importantly the timing with specials on with the Tour I ended up buying a FELT F5 YAY......
Thanks Dave I thought she would have been over my budget but you crunched the numbers better than I expected.
What a weapon and I can't wait to pick her up end of the week.

Alloy tends to have more lateral stiffness than steel
If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

:D went and picked up the Felt late this afternoon....
Got the bike adjusted to suit and knew I needed the Extras :?
I had an old Shimano top and tights from long ago in the cupboard, top can used but the 'ol tights well lets say a few lbs appeared that I didn't have before :lol: so I needed the basics the smart man would think :roll:

Oh man how far can you go when you start from scratch :shock:
Have walked out with : tights,new winter long sleeve top,winter gloves,fingerless gloves,leg warmers,head band ear warmers,shoes..
Front and rear lights,pouch,2 x tubes,2 x levers,patchs,bike pump,garage pump,water bottle and holder,Keo pedals.... :shock: :shock: :cry: :lol:
Big big Thanks to Dave again (AT) Cycleworld, a absolute pleasure to do business with :D will recommend him to all and forever my LBS....

Got home after the eldest son soccer training and the rest of the clan came down to meet me once in the garage.
They all love the bike and my boys say can I ride it etc NO AND DON'T TOUCH OR SUFFER :evil: :lol: they know I'm anal about my car and the same will be with the bike ! they have their toys and these are Mine.

Well I had to test her didn't I (AT) 9.30pm :) , my street is a nice quiet coldasac so out I went, what a buzz, she feels fantastic and quick ! felt comfortable look forward to the weekend planned ride with a friend.
I know I will suffer badly by Sunday night (I still play soccer Saturdays) but am not bike fit obviously but no pain no gain !
Will get some piccies while on the road though with the mobile.

Fancy paying that much for a bike :lol: this is why I couldn't say Cycleworld did a Fantastic package, as said highly recommend Sydney ppl talk to David W.

It's all too late. You've paid and so stop worrying about the expenses. Next is to make the investment pay for itself in the form of health benefits and enjoyment. Ride on! :D
