Nice, I have a set of 4, nice yellow and bright. :D These panniers last for years, and I have submerged a set. Everything stayed nice and dry.

I have a large set for the rear, the only thing is that things get lost in them.

I located a Tubus Tara steel rack. It did the job.

If it don't I guess I can change the bike :-)

Thanks Kev. What about those Delta racks you mentioned in the other place?

Sorry, I'm on a road tourer nowadays. Previously when I toured on an MTB I had the Delta Front suspension racks. They are a good rack and even being made out of al, they were the only al front pannier racks I haven't broke.

I'd recommend the Delta front racks. The Ortliebs sit on these without any rattling as the tubing is the right thickness for the Ortlieb's locking mechanism.

Wow, they are nice panniers from what I know of them. $105? Sounded like a bargain.

Assuming they turn up :-) Being sent down from Kal.

According to the seller, never being used and they look that way from the photos he sent. I found them online for around $229 plus postage so I reckon $105 in Perth is pretty reasonable.

Sometimes the Quokka has little bargains.

I'm going to Kal on Friday, returning on Monday. You want I should pay the shmuck a little visit? ;)

(He won't post them on Saturday - the Post Office is closed, as are all the couriers.)

Thanks Graham ... its a thought.

Maybe a postal agency? Mine is open Saturday until 5:00 PM and opens during the week at 7:30 AM. How good is that?

I don't remember any postal agencies in Kalgoorlie, and I lived there for 13 years. Anyway, the offer's open. If you need to call me at the last minute (eg while I'm still there) give me a bell on 0433 349 040.

You certainly have it good - with those hours, it sounds like they might be "customer focused"!

Cheers,
Graeme

G'day

Pleased to report that I picked up my panniers from the post office this AM. They are sweet. Now all I need is front rack!
