The old skooler is so hardcore, the metal guard behind the rear gear set is tres kewl !

Oh yeah, that blue thing is kinda okay as well I 'spoze  Nice ride man.

As a side note, isn't there Australia Standards to dictate safety reflectors and things on bikes? Mine only has a front one, and the pretty Felt there doesn't have any, where as my few year old Boulder has front, back and wheels adorned.

At least people generally know what a Scott is. I have found that most people (including most, but not all, bike shop staff) have never even heard of my Portugese made Masil. In fact I have even had one bike shop that I was talking to on the phone assume that I did not even know what brand my bike was and try to tell me that I must be talking about a Masi!

Well enought of my hijack attempt - I just had to say something because I had been going to comment about "skippy" apparently owning one, but then saw that sogood had beaten me too it

You know, the more I look at it, the more the Felt looks photoshopped into the piccy, or, the old metal has just been colour shifted and had bits removed from it. The anti-alaising on the edges and the 'spy shot' blurriness add weight to a potential fraud !

I call fake :P

 nah mate all real I am not a wizard with pc's and don't plan to.
Due to the blurriness taken with the mobile the Felt pic I brightened it as it looked real bad. So you picked wrong :P as the 'ol girl wasn't touched at all

Two sweet looking rides there Bluerider.

No comment on those toothpick mudguards, all part of the retro charm. :)

Not anymore :D

I also fell in love with Scott (s10 Speedster), I was tossing up between a Cannondale and a Scott and after riding the Scott it instantly felt right. Although the dale (Six13 3) was a superior bike in some respects.

With the money I saved a got some decent wheels and shaved off 400grams...also changed the saddle, Scott saddles are terribly uncomfortable and heavy.
:D

One of the guys in the group ride I do each week rides a FELT, and we both agreed we love their triathlon range.....

I'd love one of these if I had the legs to justify it...

I love my blue streakas well
Felt f5c - plus dura ace
Raceline Giro - on the trainer and in the wet
Geoff Scott 80s - Stripped and fixed
1993 CroMo mountain bike - kids seats front and back

I'd certinly buy another Felt.

For me, it was a great place to start.

I got the bike for 2k even, then watched ebay for dura ace shifters($207), Front Deraileur($40) and calipers($105). Changed the seat to an old concor I had laying around.
New set of wheels is on the cards. During thte Tour de Sunshine coast, the spokes on the rear came loose and the tire rubbed on the chain stay when pushing hard up hill.
Once I tightened them back up it solved, but I know for sure that there is a carbon heart under that blue paint.
