I read your account in the QLD Forum. Apart from the bike's damage, are you OK?
Don't let this keep you from riding on the road.
Kev.

If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

Damn MG, sorry to hear that bloke.
I'm glad to hear you're pretty much OK, can you take any action against the smokebox wheel holder?

Old Tommasini's Never Die
Postby TommasiniWithoutQuestion » Tue Aug 07, 2007 9:58 pm
MG,
It's Gerard in Melbourne. the lad that you bought the beautiful Tommasini Diamante off. I was reading your threads after googling Tommasini Diamante, quite engrossed no less, cos she that effect on me(see below), when BANG. I don't what to say. I hope Maurrizio can help you, and I'm sure that Irio Tommasini, if he has the chainstays, would fix it too.
I also have a 2005 Diamante which was a remake of the classic, but it is slightly too big. 57cm top tube. it suits persons over 6'1''. It may be 4sale.
But if you get stuck, I have an Tommasini UltraFire (steel)55cm top tobe, and a Tommi GD2 (carbo with 54cm top tube, and a Tommi Carbo Mach 55cm top tube (Titantium with Carbon rear triangle and front forks).
First things first- fix the old girl, as Old Tommasini's never die.
For those who have never been smitten by Tommasini, you just don't know!!!
Glad you're OK, so pick yourself up and get back out there

The most important thing is that you're still alive, and love cycling. Old Tommasini's never die! And neither do the good folk that ride them. Bounce back, cos nothing rides a Tommasini.
There's a bike shop in Melbourne with a new "Old" frameset......I think it may sell for ~$1500 if I talk nicely...but it's not a Diamante.
As for me keeping them in business.....The day I order one directly from them, I might, but the marketing and distribution in Aus doesn't deserve the middle-man free lump of money from me. I have bought my Tommi's from the US and the UK, (and Perth and Melbourne...) - whoops, i might have a problem!!! They're gorgeous, but we know that.
Good Luck Brother, and if I can help, lay it on me!
