G'day
Myself and Graeme are planning a kids (around the 10 to 14 year range) ride on a easy section of the Mundi Biddi Trail. It will probably around 10 km (that sound right Graeme?) on a Sunday and may take in a campsite. It will be on the northern section of the Trail.
If you are interested, please let us know as soon as you can so we can finalise a date. The proposed dates are:
August 12, 2007
August 26, 2007
September 23, 2007
October 7, 2007
These sound okay to you Graeme? I have Cameron every second weekend which limits things plus have to go to Singapore in September which takes out one weekend.
I have also posted this on the Aushiker Yahoo! group as there may one or two folks interested in coming along with their kids.
Regards
Andrew

August is very long time away! At the moment, the first date suits me, but that may change - I'm due to go out bush in mid-August to run a drilling program, and it may take up both dates you've indicated there.
The other two dates are still open, so it may end up being one of those.
Cheers,
Graeme

Hi Graeme
The early option is July 15. How does that sound?

Alas, I'm flying out to PNG this Sunday and won't be back until 22nd of July. So, no it doesn't work for me .....
But Don't let that stop you - if others want to go, do it!

Sorry - big edit: just found out my son is going in for a skin operation 5 days before the date I just suggested, meaning no strenuous exercise for a few weeks after. I can't make the 26th now ....
How's the 26th looking for you Andrew? Right now, it's good for me. Should we start making this a date we can work towards?
Cheers,
Graeme

Nothing too serious: he has a large, dark birth mark on his neck (funnily enough, he's had it since birth .... ) which he finds embarrassing. I can't remember the medical term for it, but it's textured and hairy and a bit bigger than a 50 cent piece, so I can completely understand why he would like it removed. He is only 8 years old and if we don't get it done now, it will be much more difficult to remove it later in his life.
It's going to take a couple of procedures to remove it completely, but it means the 26th is out - he won't be allowed to do strenuous exercise for a few weeks.
Cheers,
Graeme
