One of the best things about bicycle commuting is that it can mitigate the displeasure of having to go to work. - BikeSnobNYC

Neumo,
Probably your best bet is to visit the Bicycle Queensland web site. They organise a lot of mass events throughout the year. The ones I usually participate in are the Bike Week rides, MS ride (though this is not strictly organised by BQ, they are involved and help promote it), Cycle Queensland (a 9-day tour) and of course the Gold Coast ride.

Like Max said, the MS Brissie to Bay is another good one, lots of participants. There is also the Brisbane 2 Ipswich and the Brisbane to Noosa CenturyNeumo wrote:hey guys

If you enjoy riding worthwhile distances but not huge crowds, Audax Australia has a number of events in Queensland.

Yep that was me. Sorry, those brown bullhorns you ride reminds me of the blue and brown charge plugs. I'm always keen for people to ride with in the mornings (start time flexible but arrive back in CBD by 8am), PM me if your interested.Purt wrote: Yeh it was silver had front and back brakes, I didn't see a guy on a blue one though. I was on a brown Surly Steamroller with a white back tyre and only a front brake. It did get abit crazy after that last rest stop. Wow I feel for you riding 66", thats definitely an awesome effort. I was hurting coming down those hills with 73" .
Cheers

Yeh I'd be keen but Im struggling to find time to ride these days. Most of the time its 1 ride a week and thats usually on a Wednesday afternoon... You were moving pretty well for riding 66" on that last stretch.ryan wrote:Yep that was me. Sorry, those brown bullhorns you ride reminds me of the blue and brown charge plugs.
