Chain Reaction Order, Aug 07

Postby Kalgrm » Sun Aug 19, 2007 5:33 pm

Any Perth riders interested in ordering something from Chain Reaction in the UK? I've got about $200 worth of stuff to buy and want to get it up to the point where we get free shipping. So, if you are looking to get some stuff this week, let me know and we can at least piggy-back on shipping costs, even if we can't get over the magic number.

(If I spend another 13 GBP, it's 10% off, so that helps too.)

Cheers,
Graeme

If a Brooks B17 puts it over the magic figure, give a yell. I want to get one for the Europa and post from Perth would have to be less than from England.

I will most likely get a helmet and I'll have a look and see what else is available. When exactly are you placing the order.

G'day Graeme

Thanks for doing this. I will get a couple of little items which will at least get you into the 10% discount range.

Regards
Andrew

I ended up adding couple of things myself which already took me over the 10% discount threshold, but I'm still happy to keep accepting other orders until we get to AUD$1000 (at which point we run into GST).

I've been looking at my diary. I will be placing the order on Sunday this coming week, however I'm heading out bush for a couple of weeks on the following day. That means I won't be here when the order arrives. My wife will be here, so if you're desperate for stuff, you'll need to pick it up from her in Freo. If you're not desparate and can wait for me to return from the bush, I'm happy to procede with the order on your behalf and you can either pick it up from me in Freo or I'll bring it into the city and you can pick it up there.

I will need payment before I order though. Give me a call on 0433 349 040 and I'll get a credit card number from you (which I will then run through my facility at my gallery). You'll also need to email me a stock code number from c r c and any details like colour or size.

Cheers,
Graeme

To the guys who ordered: we reached our target of 250GBP so we have free postage and we also got 10% discount as per their sale this month. The form said we'll be receiving our order in 4-6 days so I'll let you know when they come in.

Cheers,
Graeme

Oh btw. I live in Carine, north of the river...near Hillarys Boat Harbour, for those from the south  but feel free to order from wherever in Perth, you'll just have to pick up from my place

Call it incentive to keep checking into the forum ....

Sorry guys, I tried to give lots of notice, but you know how it is: you get the "need" for some new bits and you just need to act ASAP. I think it's a sickness called upgraditis.

Cheers,
Graeme

Maybe we should just have a scheduled order each month and we can rotate the organiser/pickup place  Of course that may lead to bankruptcy very very quickly. By the way ProBikeKit have 10% off all orders at the moment :D

I may put through an order for some wheels and a crankset but still unsure at this stage and probably at least a month off.

If anyone is interested in Torpedo 7 order that would be cool, their weekly specials are tempting but then adding on postage each time makes it a bit of a downer sometimes.

You're skipping a step: Divorce first, bankruptcy shortly thereafter.

Divorce is good. Can you imagine any woman allowing me to spend what I do on bikes?

See you're doing it all wrong Richard. You are meant to empty the shoe box and then fill it with the parts you bought and place it back under the bed where you'll probably never actually use it. "It was too go a deal to pass up"
