Headed up to Calga for a roll today in C grade...I have been there twice before but have never made it up Blood Hill with the leaders. The race is 50k with 2 laps out and back.Blood Hill is 2k's from the finish. It isn't steep or long 4-500 meters but it hurts dragging my 110kg's up there.
For some reason B grade started behind C,but we were told NOT to jump on when they went past.So when some young fella jumped on after 12k's everyone let him go and no one chased B thinking "he shouldn't do that and won't be included in C grade results".
Wrong...I managed to get up the hill with 6 or so others and sprint for a placing to be told that the first place went to the burglar!!!.
Oh well was a good roll out and made i up the hill for once...there are only two or so races there before the winter season is over so will have to train up and make them pay!

Hopefully he will be bumped to B grade
If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

I'll have to get up there one day and do that race.
My fellow club members did the handicap race at Menangle today while I was doing terrorist training.
