Hooli, guarantee that all the pics in a hot girls thread will stay as tasteful as these and I'll be right behind you with the bolt cutters. I want it open so I can post a couple meself.
A similar range of very nice pics of girls on great bikes can be found at Copenhagen Cycle Chic . They even have a photo of a lovely chic lady cyclist in Sydney.
Riding bikes in traffic - what seems dangerous is usually safe; what seems safe is often more dangerous.

Mikesbytes has started a new topic Cycle Chic. The new thread title alone suggests a theme that suits the "general audience", which is the approach the mods and myself are pushing. I have to agree with the locking as the old thread had the potential to 'go bad' really easily. Thanks for discussing and sharing the views on this.

Have to agree that the other thread could have gone south. I tried to take it in the other direction, and though it's a little disconcerting to have it locked on my post, fair enough.

There are no garantees in life, a safe life without a risk is boring... il padrone wrote:A similar range of very nice pics of girls on great bikes can be found at Copenhagen Cycle Chic . They even have a photo of a lovely chic lady cyclist in Sydney.
Not sure posting that picture here is wise..... I'm sure that now this thread wil be locked too.... I see a chain reaction of pictures coming up.... see this ones isn't too bad, neither is this one.....

It doesn't matter where I draw the line. It matters where Christopher draws the line as it is his forum. He makes the rules. Depending on what those rules are and how the moderators police them dictates the type and number of people who visit here. My post was just a statement of my position.
sure there is always one person who decides what the line is, but that doesn't mean we are not allowed to question that desicion.

And in turn, other are allowed to question your questioning of that decision.

I was going to comment on what Nobody said. Theoretically I do have the final word however in practice - for all of these types of decisions it is discussed with the mods in a rather informal but democratic fashion. Sometimes during the course of the discussion a post may be locked or removed until a decision is made.
Yes, when need be I, and the mods are more than happy to get positive feedback, constructive criticism and questions. While it may not always lead to the preferred end-solution, at least there is more understanding and information flowing about. Sometimes this forum just isn't for every one... though it aims to be for most.
In terms of the discussion now ... it is going no where and it is probably best to agree to disagree.
