I was thinking of getting a few cycling mates together and heading to the velodrome for some fun - none of us have track exp. Upon searching their website though just tells me a lot about the restaurant there!'
does anyone know the cost or contact info?
I called the general number but no answer..
do they do this sort of thing there for casual riders ??
cheers scott

You'll need to organise for an accrediated coach or cycling official to supervise your session, or go along to Monday night training, which is supervised.scotto wrote:I was thinking of getting a few cycling mates together and heading to the velodrome for some fun - none of us have track exp. You (and your mates) will also need to have a Cycling Australia licence to be on the infield at the velodrome and you'll need to sign on before heading onto track.
Usually it's $10/session, $15 on weekends. You can buy season passes, I forget how much though.
They do have bikes for hire as well. Try the CNSW office, they might point you in the right direction for the above info.
if there was enough interest I could run an intro to track session for a group at times other than Monday night.

Is Monday night still a regular training night at DG?
What time do things kick off?
