Southbank accident 10/12 - heard anything?

Anyone hear about the accident? I missed the news tonight if it was considered newworthy.

Saw the poor fella this morning as you come down that very steep hill leading into Southbank from the SE freeway bikepath. He had smashed into the windscreen of an ex yellow cab and the paramedics had put a neck brace on him and he didn't look too good. Front wheel was totalled. This arvo riding home saw the ex cab still parked out the front of that unit complex and boy he or the driver must have been moving - basically the whole windscreen was smashed.

My wife worked for a ventilator assisted quad that was involved in a seemingly innocuous bicycle accident so hope this rider is okay.

A friend saw it today that is a very dangerous spot there - riders don't slow down going along there
and I am frequently having people ride very closely/trying to get past me there.
