physio / fitting

Postby yyeric » Sat Dec 12, 2009 8:35 pm

Can someone recommend a place in Canberra that's specialised in sports physio in bikes or bike fitting in general?

Have had some issues with pain on right knee and think it's related to my cleat position, but can't find the right cleat position that gives me pain-free pedaling recently.

Any idea will help

I've been to Belconnen Physiotherapy for a knee injury, which I'd thought was cleat position related, but was in fact just my physiology.
Anyway the physiotherapist I saw was Natalie, who was fantastic. In the first session she figured out what the problem was - something that two doctors (one of them a sports doctor) couldn't. This was about a year ago though, so I'm not sure if she's still there.

Thanks mate, Will call them tomorrow to see if I can book an appointment. Anyone tried the Sports Physio at O'Connor shop by any chance?

There are brouchers for someone who does bike fits out at Smith Cycles in Fyshwick.

Not sure of there name but from memory they are in Dickson.
