Seat post size for Giant CRX 4

Some on nicked my seat with the seat post at friday(!!). Damn kids

Anyone know the size of the seat post on a Giant CRX 4?

I also need a seat that fits with it..

Any good online store for cycling stuff in Australia?

I have just moved here from Norway. Just got my self a Gigant CRX 4 from cash converters.. a bit used.. but that is just fine for me

They probably did you a favour in a perverted sorta way.
The CRX saddles are literally a pain in the butt.

Welcome to the nuthouse.

Bummer about the seat - I've often seen suggestions about locking the seat as well as the wheels and have always wondered if people actually do have their seats stolen. Looks like they do.

My tip would be to go to your local bike shop. Seat posts sell for about $30 for an alloy post so you aren't going to save much trying to buy online. Saddles of course, can be cheap or expensive, depending on what you want to do. Maybe ebay is the way to go ... though anything online means you don't get your bike on the road immediately.

As for size, just ring a Giant dealer and ask

If you don't want it to happen again replace the QR on the post with an allen bolt clamp, you can get these from most bike shops.

Bnej is right, replace the quick release bolt. A while ago I managed to pick up a kit for around $35 which contained a seatpost clamp and wheel skewers, which instead of the normal quick release system, used a 5 sided allen key head, which has given me some reassurance if I have to chain the bike up anywhere. Your LBS should know about these.
Giant bikes typically come with a 27.2mm seatpost, but be sure to get one which is the correct length, as some compact style frames need a longer than normal seatpost.

The bike is now back on the road with a new BBB seatpost and BBB seat..

The dealer did not have the release bolt clamp type in my size.. But I'm gonna by one..

I also picked up a extra wire lock.. so now I can lock both wheels... so it's not possible to nick any of my wheels without cutting the wire..

Can't wait to get back on the road today

Seat post size for crx 4 is: 27,2 if anyone needs it.. clamp size is 32..
