Has anyone else seen this the 'Tri X Series'

What is the ‘triathlon evolution’?
[*]The tri X series offers unique, challenging off road triathlons, embracing the very best of the outdoors.
[*]The tri evolution is fulfilling the thirst for off road adventure, by offering new experiences at inspiring locations.
[*]The tri X series has a passionate following, inspiring novice and professional athletes to compete in diverse, spectacular environments - easily accessible from Melbourne.
[*]The series is divided into the tri X and X duo series events.
[*]Tri X series events are similar in format to a sprint triathlon, but the swim, mountain bike and trail run courses also incorporate features of the adventure racing phenomenon. X duo events are also extremely popular, with no swimming in the run: bike: run format.

This event is for triathletes, swimmers, mountain bikers, runners, multi-sporters or adventure racers, surf lifesavers and anyone looking for a great fitness challenge.

Individual & Teams
Long - Ocean Swim (500m), Mountain Bike (20km), and Trail Run (6.5km)
Short - Ocean Swim (300m), Mountain Bike (10km), and Trail Run (5km)

I've heard of it. a mate did it last year and had a blast.
