The race was well organised, and the weather came round at the right time. Could not ask for more.
How was your ride?

Yep great day, awesome weather at the top
Was my first "race" of any kind and managed 1h10min48sec, i was secretly hoping to break the 1h 10m mark but just missed out (ill blame the wet corners as my average speed through fern tree was down a bit). wasn't overtaken after starting 16th and finished about 4or5th across the line at the top. It sure was satisfying to overtake a few people with wheels worth a lot more than my whole bike.
Cant wait for next year again, have to try and break the 1h

Well done mate. Have you considered joining one of the local clubs for some road racing?

Do a google on STVCC and get the vets site. Click rides, and you will get the racing calendar for current 6 months. Road racing is all year round.

Do a google on STVCC for vets club, and go to "results" for race times. Also google "hobart wheelers" for info in their site . The two clubs jointly conducted the event. The start was outside the carpark next to the Longley Hotel..Chuck wrote:Great pics. Where do they start the TT from ? How long is it and do any of you guys know what time won it ?
