We chased hard to try and catch Lucus & Steph at the end but to no avail :P. Crosswind coming out of the tracking station on the downhill run was also not welcome

told ya we would beat u into tuggers cause im super fast (the fact i did 40kms less helps me... i was a lot more comfy from tidbinbilla tho, less big hills...)

i echo robs call... i wonder what your climb total was.... ours was a lot less... but i felt every cm

Thanks everyone for the ride. Great great efforts. 115km in distance and elevation gain is 1450m for me.
Should have brought along a lot more energy gel for sure. These undulating bumps are killers.
Off to bed now.

Just had a 2hour nap  . Legs are like bricks though getting back up!

Garmin says 1936m of climb for me. I'd say around 1700m was closer to the actual figure

Meeting point was (AT) 14km
Pierces Climb (AT) 46km
Tibinbilla Tracking in & out (AT) 59.5km to 68km

A nap? Oh that would be good. I heart the comfy chairs at Brothers Oven :)

My stats were 66.7km in 3h36 (average 18-19).

According to Map My Ride a loop from our meeting point (route saved here) has 514m of climbing. And the workout calendar says I burned 5000kJ :)

Thanks all!

Steph

1700m of climbing seems way too much - Fitz's which is an out and back from SFP is about 2300 (from memory) and that includes climbing to the end of Naas Valley, fitz's hill and back up mt mcdonald... I plotted on mapmyride and get much less. Although i'm happy to add the 1700 to the years tally :)

If I'm bored this week at work I will dig out the high res Digital elevation model and work and check :P

The garmin is def not the most accurate with its barometric altimeter. Likely even less then what I've said

Could be a different altimeter in the newer edge 500. Also slightly different routes, but not 400m difference

Probably effected by the storm front that was rolling in.

Every second week i go with pedal power to do Uriarra loop from Cooleman Court at 8AM.
It's more leisurely so nothing extreme this week.
Will go Lake George on Sunday afternoon though, if anyone's interested.
