cinelli handlebar fit question
Postby silverlight » Sun Oct 07, 2007 5:24 pm
I have an old cinelli stem probably dating to around the 60's and i recently acquired some cinelli giro d'italia bars but they do not fit as i try to insert the stem into them, I eventually got them in but as i tighten them up into the bars it dosent close up evenly. Does anyone know what size bars i will need so that they fit into my stem. thanking you all

I think you will need Cinelli bars of 26.4mm dia. The old standard Cinelli size is 26.4mm.
From memory, I think you can use 3TTT bars in Cinelli stems but ITM bars won't fit.
I also think Cinelli changed their bar/stem diameter around 1995/6 but to what diameter I can't say.
