Anyone know the hill gradient of Forrest Drive, Kings Park?

Postby beebleb » Sun Oct 14, 2007 7:48 pm

Hi all,

Just did my first set of hill repeats, going up Forrest Drive in King's Park. Not a big hill but plenty steep for me, especially in the middle.

Does anyone know what gradient that hill is? Any idea what kind of speed the Australian Time Trial Association guys go up it at?

Cheers,

Adam

Do you really want to know the gradient? It won't be as steep as it feels and will just make you feel bad

Seriously, doesn't Bikely have this info?

I mainly want to know the gradient so I can mentally prepare myself for real hills! :D

Bikely has an elevation profile but for the life of me I can't work out how to get the percentage elevation out of the pretty picture.
