I have heard OK things about the Weinmann rims - apparently not as strong as a Velocity, but the price difference may make them a great option.
If the wheelset can be had for <$180 I think they would be a good buy.

104 kg here on a Weinmann rear no probs yet but its only relatively new. its on my Daily rideLOUDERPLEASE wrote:96KG here - rollin on weinmann's at 100psi. Aint collapsed yet.

I'm 95kg +6-7kg of backpack (3L camelback in it) riding ~200km/week so I'm glad the wheels do you well
