Tubular tyres should be checked for leaks prior to fitting as damage to the valve can occur during fitting, tubular tyres that have been fitted are not covered by warranty.
Puncture protection increases the tyres protection against punctures compared to a similar weight of tyre without protection , while the likely hood of puncturing is reduced there is still a possibility of puncturing.
