What?
Jeff’s ride for heart. Details here http://www.pedalforheart.com/ and here www.trisled.com.au/home
Jeff aims to travel more than 1069km under his own power in a 24 hour period, in a specially designed & built fully faired recumbent trike
Where?
Edithvale Velodrome
When?
All day Friday 2nd April, 2010, into the wee hours of Saturday morning.
Why?
To raise money for the heart foundation; donate here http://www.everydayhero.com.au/jeffrey_nielsen
To explore the limits of human powered vehicles and human endurance
The Vehicle “a lil Overzealous†is in its final stages of completion now and both Jeff & the Trisled build crew are confident that she is up to the job. Details and specs as well as an attempt wrap up will be posted on the website in the next week or so.
Official start time to be confirmed but somewhere between 6am and 10am Friday morning is what we are aiming for.
All are welcome to come down and say hi and cheer Jeffy on. Funny signs to show him and mooning encouraged . Extra brownie points for those who show up in the grave yard shift in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Don’t forget that Jeff is raising money for the Heart foundation so bring your donation for the tin!
Please feel free to forward this to others who may be interested.
Thanks.
