SBS cycling coverage in May
Postby HAKS » Sun Apr 11, 2010 10:33 pm
Great to hear that every stage of the Tour of California will be live on SBS2 and they are also having Mon-Fri 8.30pm highlights packages from the Giro and extended Giro coverage on weekends.
Well done SBS(2)

Eurosport on Foxtel showing all stages of Giro live including stage1. Just hope Sean Kelly isn't commentating on this one or the idiot that was on SBS last year.

Depends on the rights package that SBS has - I thought the coverage started on the 8th (which is when the race starts isn't it ?) according to my Tivo ?williamsf1 wrote:but what about SBS????

Doesn't answer your question, but i did read SBS say the Giro is quite expensive hence limited coverage compared to other tours.

Even though sometimes it's only highlights or abbreviated packages, the coverage amount and variety has significantly improved over the last few years, so amen to that.
I am grateful for everything that comes along. Now that I can record it easily

yeah I have no problem with the quality of the coverage....
I just thought there was something odd with me that I could only find stage 2 onwards and not stage 1!!!!
my beyonwiz with ice tv lets me record from anywhere in the world.... soooo good!
bring on the GIRO!
