Has it stood the test of time?

A get together is organised for owners and their Berretto bike.
Meeting at ‘Fish on Flinders’ at Sandgate. Opposite the pool on Flinders parade. A short ride to Woody point and back for those interested. Should it rain, Fish on Flinders have an under cover area.

I assume he will be there as it was from him that I recieved the original email. If you post up your email address, I'll forward it on as the flyer has a picture of a Berretto worth looking at.

Gary, I have emailed Brett your question. The answer is on the tip of my tongue, but isn't coming out. For some reason the name Peter is getting in the way. ????
Stand by.

Brett Richardson's reply to this question:
Dean,
Robert Johnson (Rapallo) was the builder at Zillmere.

Totally.
in other beretto news: i met a guy on a ride out to sandgate just a few months ago and he came up beside me and said, "Nice bike."
I said, "Thanks." And then did a double take. "WHA?"
It was like looking in the mirror. "OMGosh! You have exactly the same bike as me!"
And so we chatted for the next 10 or so ks and it turns out his (forgot his name - soz) might have been just a few years older and he had owned it since being built by Brett.
I hope he knows about this and comes along. He was saying that Brett is still teaching frame building and has a course that he has enrolled in.
MG - do you know any more about this?
I have also met a guy called roaul who owns a black beretto track bike. I've told him about it and he's gonna come too.
This is gonna be MASSIVE! so bummed i can't be there.

The course is at Bracken Ridge TAFE and begins at the start of each calendar year. That's all I know.
I gave up on replacing the white beast with a more suitable frame and also knocked back an offer to buy the bike Brett crashed when he broke his shoulder (in perfect condition). I'm starting to regret it now.

Sorry MG if you have sent any email to me and i have not acknowledged, but my home internet is down and it is hard to access it at work.

I have a Berretto and would like to be kept up to date with this as it sounds like a great thing. My Berretto is the one on the flyer.
My email is glenn.j.bell@optusnet.com.au
Thanks

Did I, by any chance meet you at your house to look at a Centurian you had for sale and spend the whole time staring at your Berretto? Grange was the suburb if I recall propperly and you were hell bent on Scirocco wheels, which I had at the time on my Tommasini. So the poor Centurian didn't get much of a look.

Yes it is me. But the suburb was Alderley (very close though).
I sold the Centurion and still have the Berretto. I also picked up a Litespeed although only a Al Carbon job, still very nice.
In some ways I wished I had kept the Centurion as I am keep to do another rebuild. Would love to find a Berretto.
I will be there on the 17 hope to see you there.
Glenn

I went on to buy a Repco Victory Tri-A, which is the very same Infinity CRMO frame as the Centurian was with differnt decals. I have since sold it, but don't miss it as much as I thought I would. I have a road bike, a MTB and a rigid MTB to commute on and to add redundancy in the MTB camp. I got really tired of planning this and that, but would still like to find a Berretto in about 12 months or so.
I'd like to attend the meeting and gork away, for sure. I have to see how other commitments turn out.
Enjoy.
