Campbell Town to Coles Bay race

I have been looking at entering this years race, and done a little research to ascertain the likely field. From what I can find, it appears that only 23 riders started last year, with 19 finishing. That sounds like a lonely ride. Does anyone know whether my figures are correct? Have I missed something?

Sounds interesting. Do they close the Lake Leake highway to other traffic? Could be some creative overtaking by tourists in campervans etc on the steep winding sections otherwise...
