Missed this this morning but apparently SBS was broadcasting live from 7:00 AM on SBS 2 so might be worth checking for more broadcasts.

Also live online at http://tracker.amgentourofcalifornia.com/ . The broadcast started at 2:00 AM WA time this morning. Keen?

Yep, there was transmission problems out of the States caused by the weather conditions, read rain. The same applied to the Giro last night for awhile.

If you Google "Tour of California team radios" you will get a number of articles that suggest that radios are being used as per normal.

Anyone watch Stage 3? I can't believe all the commentators talking about how Zabriskie deserved the win so much yet he refused to take a bloody turn!

With 25km remaining over the top, it was up to Rogers and Zabriskie to tow a reluctant Leipheimer to the line if they wanted to keep a gap over the rest of the field. The two did the lion's share of the work, with Zabriskie pushing the pace in the final kilometre and then narrowly taking the sprint over Rogers from the front out of the last turn.

What a load of bollocks. He sat behind Leipheimer and Rogers all the way over the hills, and begrudgingly went to the front briefly once they were over the top.

They must have been watching a different race!

As one'd expect from the US, ToC is clearly making a major marketing push this year. Not only does it clash with the Giro, it pulled a whole bunch of top cyclists away from that race. And on SBS2, 2 hours coverage every morning from 7 to 9am. Did SBS pick up this broadcasting right for cheap? Not complaining.
