Just a friendly reminder to those who are coming on Sunday that daylight savings starts this weekend. Put your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night, or you'll turn up at "8.00am" and find everybody is already in Freo .....
Cheers,
Graeme

Hi Andrew
Clive and I will be "training it" down from the N suburbs and will hopefully emerge from the new Esplanade station (arrives 8.02AM).
See you there!

The weather may be a deciding factor for us...not the cold and wet - honest Seriously, we have a home open in the afternoon and, with today's weather, I'll need to clean all the outside windows beforehand. It is great to live near the beach with a nice ocean view, but a storm like today can certainly make work for house-sellers
If we think we can afford the time based on what we accomplish tonight, we'll be there by 8.05am. If we aren't there by 8.10am, we won't be coming.
Might see you then

Andrew and I were there. Where the hell were you guys?
(No, really, we did go along. Andrew invited a bunch of his mates along, so we had 6 riders all up. We didn't get rained on once, just for the record .....)
Cheers,
Graeme

Sorry guys! The plan was to leave the house at 6.30am to get there for 8am (40km ride), however it was raining pretty hard here in Mindarie at the time so that was a no-go. The next plan was the train at 7.30am but by the time the second coffee was made the idea had been lost! (and the better half offered to make me a bacon sandwich! )
(I managed the Hillarys run at around 9.30am and had the classic 20km head wind, 20km tail wind run.)
Cheers,
Gary

Good effort guys for riding in the lousy weather on the weekend, though Sun at least wasn't as feral as Sat.
Had my first go at rogaining down near Dwellingup on Sat and it was freezing at night - fortunately didn't rain as much as was expected. A great experience, but feel stiff as a board now - being fit on a bike does not equal being fit bashing through bush for 12 hours!
Will definitely be interested if another Perth Freo ride is being planned.
