Schleck Speak

Postby JB » Tue Jun 15, 2010 10:26 am

"I felt bad all over... I attacked 300 metres from the summit and that felt like the longest kilometre of my life," said Schleck. "It makes me happy to win a stage here."

One of those funny Luxo kilometres?

That must be why Andy is $7.50 to win the TdF whilst Frank is $51.00...its all those extra miles he'll cover.

But the paragraph before said, "The elder Schleck, 30, who came fifth in last year's Tour de France, made his break on that last ascent before a flat final kilometre to the line, holding off the challenge of Colombia's Rigoberto Uran (Caisse d'Epargne) who finished in the same time."

Not knowing the course layout would make you think he has no idea on distances. It makes sense, though, when you take into account the previous paragraph. Sort of.
