RadioShack Not Happy Chappies

Postby Aushiker » Thu Jun 17, 2010 12:06 am

Hi

From BikeRadar.com
RadioShack manager Johan Bruyneel was left speechless after learning that his Lance Armstrong-led team was not invited to the Tour of in Spain September....

"I am not only surprised, I am speechless," Bruyneel said from the Tour of Switzerland. "At first I thought it was a mistake so I called organizer Javier Guillen for some explanation. He told me that the other teams offered him better options on a sporting level.

"I cannot accept or understand this decision. With Levi Leipheimer, Andreas Klöden, Chris Horner and Jani Brajkovic we had four potential Vuelta winners on the roster we sent to (race organisers) Unipublic."

Nope. Had my first Jaycar visit a few weeks back, apalling customer service. Apparently smiling, being remotely friendly, or even speaking to customers is a no-no in there. The guy was just an arrogant tool

Not enough Spanish riders on the team? None of those name he listed as potential winners were Spanish.

What year was it when Filippo Simeoni's team didn't get invited to the Giro? I think it was the same year he was the Italian national champion - last year? And it apparently had nothing to do with LA's first time entry to the race... I think Johan was speechless at that too. Or at least, he didn't seem to say anything about it.
