make up and Hair do
Postby Apple » Tue Jun 22, 2010 8:30 am
But I have noticed that some female cyclists have full on makeup and perfume as well. The hair style appears like a vogue magazine look.
Am I missing something here, any of you girls out there have a makeover before you ride at 6am?

Actually I did see a women down beach road wearing red lipstick... weird, so I kicked her arse... cycling, not like a scrag fight or anything.
I put deoderant on and soemtimes I wash my face, but thats more to wake me up, if tis windy then lip gloss and I use my fancy lip gloss that's suppose to give me fuller lips (LOVE MARKETING... Gets me every time)
I think its more important that your kit matches and is clean!

I don't even wash my face or put on moisturiser. I'm going to get sweaty and grimy anyway, so why bother?
Apple, you must thinking about those Turramurra female cyclists - the ones in the pink uniform. I know the guys in our bunch love perving on them.

Heaven forbid they put in any effort.
Why do your hair anyway? You're going to put a helmet on anyway...

Have to disagree with you hannos, these girls are fast mean machines that do 200km per day. Some have even had boob jobs and stand out line pine cones.hannos wrote:They're the Princesses that don't sweat, don't get dirty, the wind never messes their hair and they ride $5k bikes that do 20km / week (but only when it's clear skies)

I am sure the endorphins of looking good makes them fast
