Major shrinkage in winter

Postby Chaderotti » Tue Jun 29, 2010 8:13 pm

... I'm not the only one right?

And how the hell do the pro's still have 20 metres of man even in sub zero temperature?

<Burt>It's been rumoured that part of the podium girls job is to help with that. A quick fondle before the winners appearance on the podium does wonders apparently. </Burt>

I was going to post here about how on earth people keep the old fella from shrivelling up in icy pain but you've beaten me to it. So guys, how do you stop frostbite on the 'extremities'. I'm off for a few weeks (see thread on broken toe) but I will get back into it and it will be cold and something will be suffering from shrinkage and the associated pain. I'm with you Chad in manning up and asking for help (other than shoving a sock in place for cosmetic purposes). FoM

I remember doing an audax ride up in the hills. After about 40 odd km in the morning at maybe... 10 degrees C? I had a toilet break, had to wake up the little fella and this other rider came by, flopped it out, did his business and was out the door before I even started!

Aah just when I'm having the kind of day that makes me loathe being female, a thread like this comes along. Thank you.

I came across these in my travels today. Not sure if they are what TLL is talking about. http://www.incline.com.au/store/pc/Wind ... 65p864.htm

At the coffee shop he reached down the front of his knicks and pulled out a glove! He put it there as a a bit of a wind shield! I kid u not....

Chad, to properly diagnose you will probably have to let us know whether it is the cold that his getting to you or you feel that you can't advertise as well in the winter. If it is the latter... stick with black knicks that are not too shiny, less shadow and light. Otherwise, from womens fashion, horizontal stripes make you look larger - so look out for horizontally striped knicks.

Sidi make a shoe insole that has electrical heating elements in it.
Maybe you can stitch/glue that to your shorts.. or roll it into a tube and then cut to size.

Make sure you take it off before you cut it
